Mortal Kombat EO Beta is Underway!

Mortal Kombat EO Beta’s first wave has started. Netherrealm has sent codes to select players that have spent at least 10 hours in online Ranked play. The new net-code promises to simulate offline play using a similar roll-back system that mirrors the popular GGPO net-code. Characters and stages will be added as the beta progresses to implement and play-test specific character matchups and balance changes. Invite waves will increase at a further date.             In other Mortal Kombat related news, KP2 has an official release date, March 1^st; however, with this release, comes woe. KP2 will not be coming to PC. There is no word or reason as to why from PR of NRS or WB. Both Netherrealm and WB have refused to provide further comment.

            Unfortunately, PC support will also not be seeing the EO update, net code updates, and balances changes as well. No love for PC from WB, as you can imagine. Hopefully there will be more news on this matter soon enough.
